How to automatically retrieve all of your incoming Yahoo emails to eTextMail so that you can receive them as Text messages on your cell phone.
The free Yahoo Mail doesn't support direct email forwarding. However, the eTextMail WebMail can automatically retrieve your Yahoo emails so that they can be sent to your phone as SMS messages. Please do the following steps:
- VERY IMPORTANT: First, log into your Yahoo email and mark all emails as "Read", this stage is very important because eTextMail will retrieve all unread emails and you certainly don't want to retrieve old unread emails. You only want to retrieve new emails.
- Then log into your eTextMail.
- Click on the "WebMail" top menu item.
- Then click on the "Settings" top menu item inside WebMail.
- Click on the "Pop Retrieval" left menu item.
- Click on the "New" button to add a new entry.
- The "POP Retrieval" form will be displayed.
- Fill in the form with the following information.
- Server Address: localhost
- Port: 20001
- Username: <enter your full yahoo email address>
- Password: <enter your yahoo password>
- Put a check mark on "Leave Messages on Server"
- Destination Folder: Inbox
- Click on "Save" button.
